Your Arabic text is broken.
We fix it.
Broken Arabic, or no Arabic at all. We handle the translation and the engine-side work that makes it render — Unity, Unreal, Godot, or your own engine.
Services
Translation, text engineering, and language QA for Arabic in games.
Arabic Text Engineering
Contextual shaping, bidi reordering, ligatures, and mirrored punctuation. The output imports into your engine as-is.
Translation + Engineering
Native Arabic translation with the technical processing in-game text needs, delivered together.
LQA
We play through your build with Arabic active and log every display bug with repro steps.

Send a slice of your string file. We run it through our pipeline, check the output, and send it back with notes on what your setup will break on.

Same file, same keys. CSV, TSV, JSON, .po, or your engine's native string table.
How it works
Send your localization file
CSV, JSON, .po, or your engine's string table. Source strings or existing Arabic.
strings.csvWe translate and/or process it
Arabic translation, shaping, bidi handling, and technical cleanup — per string, offline.
shape + reorderYou import it back
Same file structure and keys. No engine-side integration required.

Send a slice of your string file. It goes through our own processing pipeline, then one of us checks the output before it goes back — so you get a working file, plus notes on anything in your setup that will cause problems later.

Vice Signalling
- Problem
- The game had no Arabic version, and the studio had never shipped Arabic before. Whatever we delivered had to render correctly in Unity without changing their existing localization pipeline.
- What we did
- Translated the full dialogue and UI into Arabic, then processed the strings for shaping and bidirectional text — keeping the original keys and file structure intact.
- Result
- The studio imported the processed strings and shipped Arabic with no changes to the engine. Text added late in development was turned around on the same workflow.

From the developer.
It was such a pleasure working with Locavera.
All the translations were done exceptionally quickly, while always taking into account the specific technical and cultural aspects of our game. We had never worked with Arabic localization before, so naturally, we ran into quite a few technical issues along the way. Locavera was there to help us from start to finish, patiently working through all the problems with us until we got a really great final result.
Game development can also be pretty unpredictable, and we ended up adding quite a lot of text that wasn't planned at the beginning. Locavera was incredibly supportive and flexible throughout the process, even with all these unexpected changes.
Would gladly work with Locavera again!

Who we are
We help game studios make Arabic text render correctly — across Unity, Unreal, Godot, and custom engines. No reversed letters, no broken shaping, no painful RTL workarounds.
We're three friends — an engineer, a doctor, and an English literature graduate. We kept running into games with broken Arabic, and noticed there weren't many games in Arabic at all. So we decided to fix it ourselves.
Right now that means you talk directly to the people doing the work on your files — no account managers, no handoffs. We're building the studio out as we take on more titles, but that part we intend to keep.
Let's start your project.
Send a few strings or a screenshot of what's breaking. We reply to every message, usually within a day.
