A stylized narrative game with heavy in-world signage and dialogue. The studio had never shipped Arabic before — we handled both the translation and the technical processing needed to make it render correctly in Unity.
Same build, same font atlas. Only the string data changed.

A single line from the mission briefing shows what the pipeline had to resolve.
Full dialogue and UI translated, with terminology and tone kept consistent across the script — including text added late in development.
TranslationEvery letter resolved to its initial, medial, final or isolated form, plus lam-alef ligatures.
ShapingLatin names, numbers and punctuation placed on the correct side of each run.
BiDiDialogue boxes, HUD and menus re-checked for overflow, clipping and alignment.
UIPlayed through with Arabic active; display bugs logged against the build with repro steps.
QAThe studio imported the processed strings and shipped Arabic with no changes to the engine. Text added late in development was turned around on the same workflow.
ShippedIt was such a pleasure working with Locavera.
All the translations were done exceptionally quickly, while always taking into account the specific technical and cultural aspects of our game. We had never worked with Arabic localization before, so naturally, we ran into quite a few technical issues along the way. Locavera was there to help us from start to finish, patiently working through all the problems with us until we got a really great final result.
Game development can also be pretty unpredictable, and we ended up adding quite a lot of text that wasn't planned at the beginning. Locavera was incredibly supportive and flexible throughout the process, even with all these unexpected changes.
Would gladly work with Locavera again!
Tell us what engine you're on and attach a few strings. We'll process them and send the result back.
